Ever heard of responsive web design? Or maybe you were told to make your website responsive instead of having a different design for your mobile site.

I found this really interesting post on FastCoDesign.com this morning and thought I should share. Its really interactive.

But just for a short description, responsive web design is a design method for websites to make them adjust their size automatically to fit the screen of the viewer. So no matter the mobile device you’re using, chances are, it’ll fit to it.

Take this site for example, if you are on a desktop right now, I want you to resize your browser while on the site. You would see the site adjust to fit the new window size. That’s responsive for you.

Good thing about a responsive web design is that you get to have a mobile site without any addition work. And it looks especially good on tablets if you have all the effects running around on your site.

ADVANTAGES

  • Keep the current design of your site for mobile and desktop version
  • Better SEO (Search Engine Optimization) rankings

So without further ado, check out the post below.
